Meet La Pecosa

I'm Madelyn, and yes, the freckles are where the name comes from.

I paint the things people love most: the dog who follows you room to room, the grandparent whose face you never want to forget, the island you carry with you. My work moves between soft graphite, layered colored pencil and bold acrylic, and every piece starts with the story behind it.

I take on a limited number of commissions at a time, so each one gets my full attention.

Extra subjects, larger sizes, detailed backgrounds and rush timing add to the price. You'll always get an exact quote before paying anything. Shipping is quoted separately.
